After the United States Disciplinary Barracks on Alcatraz is acquired by the United States Department of Justice and becames a Federal Bureau of Prisons federal prison, the first civilian prisoners (who had continuously caused trouble at other federal prisons.) arrive at the Federal prison on Alcatraz Island.
